Privacy principle
Kadira collects the information needed to operate dating, friendship, events, meetups, safety, moderation and billing while limiting unnecessary collection of sensitive information.
Information you provide
This can include your email address, password credentials, date of birth, profile information, dating and friendship preferences, interests, photos, messages, event activity, reports, and support communications.
Location
Kadira uses generalized location information such as city or neighborhood for discovery. Kadira does not publicly display a member's precise GPS coordinates.
Photos and messages
Member photos are stored in private object storage and delivered through authenticated Kadira access. Messages are stored to provide the messaging service and may be reviewed when necessary to investigate reports, abuse, fraud, or safety concerns.
Analytics and basic traffic measurement
Kadira uses Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics for product and website measurement. Kadira also uses a limited first-party browser identifier to estimate daily unique visitors for internal operations reporting. This first-party visitor record is pseudonymous, is not based on your dating preferences or messages, and is not sold to advertisers.
Advertising and promotion
Kadira uses a mix of reviewed direct local advertising and third-party display advertising, including Google AdSense where enabled. Member-created meetups use a separate $5 one-time posting fee. Paid placements are clearly identified where appropriate. Kadira does not provide advertisers with private messages, match history, precise location, identity-verification material, sexual orientation, or individualized private dating activity.
Direct Kadira advertising uses broad contextual information such as city and the product surface being viewed. Third-party advertising providers may use cookies, device identifiers, coarse location, page context, consent choices and other information described in their own privacy disclosures. Kadira does not intentionally pass private dating preferences, likes, matches, messages or verification data to advertising providers for ad targeting.
Where required, Kadira uses consent and privacy controls for third-party advertising. Members who purchase the optional $3.99 one-time Ad-Free option do not receive Kadira display advertising while signed in, although third-party services needed for other operational purposes may still process information as described elsewhere in this policy.
Business customers
For business purchases, Kadira may collect business name, contact name, email, city, website, campaign details and Stripe billing identifiers needed to provide and administer the purchased placement.
Service providers
Kadira uses service providers for hosting, databases, storage, email, payments, analytics, security and other operational functions. These providers receive information as needed to perform services on Kadira's behalf and operate under their own contractual and security obligations.
Account deletion and retention
Members can permanently delete their account from Settings. Deletion removes the Kadira account and associated application records, subject to limited retention that may be necessary for fraud prevention, safety, legal obligations, disputes, chargebacks, or backups.
Security
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Kadira uses access controls, protected sessions, private media storage, moderation controls, rate limits and other safeguards intended to reduce risk.
Your choices
Members can manage profile visibility and account settings, block other members, report concerns and permanently delete their account. The optional $3.99 one-time Ad-Free purchase removes Kadira display advertising from the member account where applicable.
